Top 10 Nicest Cars on the Market

nicest cars

The nicest cars on the world’s market have always held a great fascination for automobile enthusiasts throughout the decades. We spend so much time looking at and drooling over these cars for a number of reasons.

Sure, we’d love to see the looks on our neighbor’s face as we pull into the driveway in a Rolls-Royce Phantom, but it’s even more amazing to see where technology has brought us.

Some of the most expensive cars on the market may not make very handy weekday cars, but they are absolute marvels of modern engineering.

Just to see what kinds of things can be done on the factory floors is a gift to the auto fan.

For most of us, actually driving these cars—let alone owning them—is nothing more than a beautiful daydream. But that doesn’t mean we can’t spend time looking closely at some of the best and most expensive vehicles in the world and how they’re changing the face of the automobile industry.

Most Expensive Cars: What Your Money is Buying

So what is the big difference between a 1.7 million dollar car and a 30,000 dollar one? Sure, the more expensive ones look like space ships and are made by high end European companies, but what else do they have?

Think of it this way: if you had the money to spend, what would your 1.7 million dollars be buying you?
Speed

This is the biggest factor among the best cars in the world. The Bugatti Veyron—at $1.7 million, the most expensive car in the world—can drive at speeds in excess of 250 miles per hour. Now, there wouldn’t be much opportunity to enjoy speeds like that unless you’re driving on a test track, but the ability alone makes this model one of the nicest cars in the world.

Body

Because speed is so important in the most expensive cars in the world, their bodies are equally as important. With heavier bodies comes slower cruising, so the nicest cars on the market are usually made with Formula 1 race car technologies, like carbon-fiber bodies.

Fancy Features

Cup holders? Check. AM/FM radio? Check. Digital temperature control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, self-parking technology, and thermal imaging for nighttime driving? Check.

Top 10 Nicest Cars on the Market

Finally, here it is: the list of the top ten nicest cars in the world today. The following cars are listed according to their quality, drivability, features, and value—not necessarily on price alone. Because when it comes to the best, price isn’t always the most trustworthy indicator. Sometimes, you have to look deeper.

1.   Bugatti Veyron – $1.7 million

2.   Lamborghini Reventon – $1.6 million

3.   McLaren F1 – $1 million

4.   Pagani Zonda C12 F – $700K

5.   Ferrari Enzo – $1 million

6.   Porsche Carrera GT – $500K

7.   Maybach 62 – $400K

My 2000 Infiniti I30 is #11 on the list, I can assure you. At 130K miles, it has never broken down, other than a battery dying. But that was not Nissan’s fault. The 8-speaker Bose system cannot be beat either.

So a car that costs around $300,000 a year to own and drive is the number one car on a list that claims value is even a consideration.

Right…

I agree with Matt love my regal gs into it for about 5 grand with performance mods and it can haul my whole family through the 1/4 in under 14 seconds :)

What a stupid article. Why list cars that not one in a hundred thousand can buy. And they are mostly egotistical people. Cars to me are only a conveinance. No I am not jealous because I cannot afford one.

Under 14 seconds is so 80′s, the average V6 Mustang is faster these days. I raced GN’s back in the day, they were great for what they were but to compete today they simply can’t.

Now, yank out the great engines of today from the fat pigs they’re installed in and installed the latest 5 liter from Ford into an ’85 LX coupe and you have yourself a stock 11 second car. Don’t even have to touch the engine.

As for this top 10 “Nicest cars”, since when does fast equate to nice? Now the Aston Martin, I’ll go with that but some of the others are butt ugly, you can have them.

I can trump that. My 1999 1/2 Nissan Pathfinder SE has 360,000 miles on it and runs and looks great. Bet none of these will take that kind of use and still be running on all original parts!!

There is NO reason for any automobile costing more than 10K to exist. An automobile is a means to an end. To get your butt from point A to point B…safely, and cheaply. It is NOT about flashing your lack of common sense by spending ONE MILLION DOLLARS or just under it, trying to impress everyone that you have it made and money is no object! There is NO reason for any car to have a V-12, 1000 HP engine capable of going 250 mph. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Mankind has yet to get the larger picture… what a waste of resources. IDIOTS!
